| Q- Please introduce yourself.

"Ok.. where to begin? I'm Joe Sims, I'm 17 and I live in a little town
called Ridgecrest "RC" Basically skating is my life.. there is nothing that
I love to do more.. it's that simple.. ha-ha. I have been skating for 2 and half years, and that really
isn't long enough in my opinion.. I wish I had started earlier with all of the skaters
coming up these days. The only thing I do if I'm not skating is
chillin' with all of my homies. That's all you really need to know.."

|
Q-When did you first start skateboarding and what would you say got you
hooked on skating?

"I first started like ages ago.. but I never really took it seriously then you know..who did?
ha-ha. The first thing that got me hooked I remember
was skating this park that was about 2 or 3 minutes form my house, It just became a
habit I guess.. just couldn't get enough of it Idk. In short friends did it for me.."
|
|
Q- What was your first board set up?
|
"Ha-ha.. my first set
up was pretty jank.. I was riding a Copelands deck,
Venture trucks, Mini logos, and some reds bearings.. It did the job."

Q- How has skateboarding influenced your life?
|
"Skateboarding has influenced my life in more ways then I can remember..I
don't know what I would be doing with my life right now if I
didn't have skateboarding.. It's almost too much to think about
ha-ha. It keeps me out trouble.. skating with friends."
|
|
Q- What is your current set up?
|
"Current setup.. uhh Silent deck (8), Venture trucks (lows), Hubba wheels
(52mm), and some Bones bearings.. It gets the job done.." :)

|
"I have a few fav spots.. One is Shadow Hills.. it's this small Jr. High,
its the perfect setup.. starts with a oversized four and you do down a
hallway so you can hit a flat ground trick or two, then to this buttery seven stair.. I learned of my tricks there..so perfect. If
your a ledge person.. there are ledges for days..Hillview is another
fav.. ok think of a school that is made just like a
skatepark, it seriously has everything to skate.. My last spot is my
friend Ck's garage, we skate there for hours.. there are endless games of skate that have been played there."
